100% pure, natural Devon honey

    How it's made.

Beekeeper John’s Devon honey is a high-quality artisan product - pure, unblended and unpasteurised. It’s coarse-filtered (to remove debris) and gently warmed so it can be poured into jars. That’s all. Nothing added, nothing taken away - just as the bees made it. What’s more, it’s harvested in small batches from single apiaries, with the location shown on every jar. So pure it’s positively saintly.

    Where it's from.

Our apiaries are all in South Devon - Dartington, Littlehempston, Galmpton and Canonteign. The bees range over cottage gardens, Devon hedgerows, organic and biodynamic farms, woods and gardens and the lush valleys of the Dart and Teign. Of course the bees will do their own thing, but Beekeeper John tries to give them the best possible homes - far from GMOs, pesticides and other nasties.

    Why it matters.

Around the world, honey is one of the the most adulterated products you can buy. In the UK, cheap honey is typically a blend of EU and non-EU honeys from multiple sources. That gives it very little traceability - and it may well be bulked out with sugar syrup. Artisan honey is a different thing altogether. Beekeeper John’s Devon honey is made with love - and you can taste it in every drop.
